Recording a Twelve Piece Band!! Live!

To give you an example of the value you can get from Meadow Farm Recording we have included a recent example of a recording session.

Eighty dollars an hour might sound expensive, but if you are prepared, it's the best bargain around. This twelve piece band, that featured drums, bass, guitar, percussion, keyboards, blues harp, 2 trumpets, saxophone, trombone, and 3 singers was set-up and ready to record in two hours. They then spent 2 hours recording 15 songs (they were well rehearsed) at a cost so far of $320 dollars for time (4hrs @ $80) plus tape rental $100 dollars (2 reels @ $50ea) for a total of $420 dollars. A week later we sat down and spent 4 hours both mixing and mastering all 15 songs. (4hrs @ $80) total of $740 dollars. We finished by completing a D.A.T. tape and (2) CDR's (add $20) for a final total of $760 dollars. An amazing sounding, 15 song CD ready to go to at $760 dollars. That is  a bargain
