The Tree's
have been performing for many years, and have play in some of the most
recognizable places in New York. Read there reviews below and check out a
performance, we think you'll be a fan.
" Throughout "Stand Tall", The Trees combine jangling
acoustic guitars, stand-up bass, mouth harps and loping rhythms with Crosby,
Stills and Nash style vocal arrangements. When a striking touch of electric
slide guitar cuts in (such as in "The
Sound"), the result is something like sitting in a meadow watching warm sunshine
cut through, well, the trees."
Isaac Guzman
(Newsday - Nightbeat) Note: The Trees received an A-
rating in performance, A- in songwriting, and an A in sound quality by this
reviewer.
"The band's sound resonates with the Sixties as well.
Close harmonies on tunes like "Times We Once Had" and "Your Love Song" evoke The
Byrd's or early Simon and Garfunkel, while Dennis Phelp's screaming guitar turns
other tracks into classic rock."
Letta Tayler
(Newsday)
"..the Trees provide the stuff on which faith and
hope for the future, both in music and life, is founded."
