The Trees are four charismatic musicians filled with striking passion and
vibrancy. They capture the deeper thoughts of their audience through a unique
blend of electric and acoustic folk rock. Nick Abbay, lead singer, has written
more than 300 musical compositions. His songs speak to you with sensitive,
outspoken words about love, hope and the human spirit. Lyrical topics include
all of the social injustices including the violence in society and issues about
racial harmony. Songs...anthem-like, touch on the direction of the world today.
Lead guitarist and vocalist Dennis Phelps plays electric guitar, acoustic
guitar, mandolin, steel guitar, and other stringed instruments that add to the
bands many different textures of sound. Bass guitarist and vocalist Brian
Carroll and Drummer and vocalist Pete Lazos are the foundation, providing solid,
versatile, and imaginative beats the Trees are known for. The Trees have
released three independently produced CD's that we think you will enjoy.
